Wait, the Monogatari TL is already up to Kabuki? Damn, I missed that. Looking forward to Katanagatari as well.

While disappointed it'll be in omnibus format, I'm super happy to hear that we're getting Katanagatari. Hopefully that means the Kyoko series will be next....
Let's be honest, they might've just announced Kabukimonogatari today, but everyone knows they've already licensed the rest of Second Season. Pre-orders have been up for awhile for all volumes up to Koimonogatari.
Also, as a fan of hakomari, it's great to see more of the authors works brought over.

Nice to see Katanagatari, and while I guess it's not a popular opinion, I actually like omnibuses, LN or manga.
Also, I've been wanting to watch the anime, and the article states that NIS America released it in the US, but I can't seem to find it anywhere, neither streaming, nor on rightstuff. Is piracy my only option?

It was one of their earlier releases, and it went out of print a while ago, unfortunately.

Well dang. They should at least stream it somewhere like Crunchyroll or Hulu.

NISA has been letting a lot of their less popular anime licenses expire recently (RIP House of Five Leaves); they may have decided it wasn't worth it to renew home video or streaming rights.
Sure hope it does end up available legally again sometime, though.

Digitally? Or am I buying 5 volumes in print of the same series that day? Of course, I'm hoping they will be releasing it in print...

The article is horribly worded. Vertical will be releasing the series in 2-in-1 omnibus, with volume 1 releasing in print on September 25th.

Thanks for the info, brynhild. So, 2-in-1s. I'm going to be getting the series, and I think it's 10 volumes long. I was a bit iffy on the premise for the series, but after seeing the anime, execution was great.
