How nice. A new idol anime. But while we're on the topic of that, whatever happened to that last anime idol group 22/7 or something like that?? They fell off the face of the planet.

So, basically the Wake Up, Girls! recruitment process all over again, but without Yamakan.
Their Twitter is still very active. I think they may have asked meme-girl Sally to rein in the crazy just a bit. |

They are probably busy getting the girls and everything ready. There is also Onsen Musume which is an idol series about girls and hot springs.
Hopefully, this will be an idol series where there is no Producer-san or any male self-insert/manager/love interest at all. |
