Problem with BookWalker is that their drm is too strong combined with their relative obscurity on the English market there's really no easy way of making backups/drm-free versions of their stuff, so not going bother even if I am personally interested in this. If this changes, like they become popular enough for English drm-removal tools for it to pop up, as an avid light novel reader I'll certainly be glad to change my stance... But that nuisance aside, I'm happy for this receiving an adaptation. |

The winter season was already looking ridiculously good and they just keep piling it on. Besides Overlord S2 I think this may be my most anticipated show.

A cast of many lolis, a main guy as protag AND anime adaptation.
This is basically text-book recipe for a stupid flop these days. |

It placed first in the 2017 light novel ranking so apparently there is some interest. Whether Shogi appeals as much to Western audience remains to be seen though... |

There's been a huge shogi boom in Japan over the past couple years in popularity thanks to some rising young stars. But nothing of the sort in the west, so, yeah, we'll see... |

I meant flop in Japan, actually, and because it won't work as an anime, be it shogi or not.
