Granted it should be noted the polling was done before Amazon snatched the show up, so now that anticipation has gone down by a good chunk. Laughing

In part I agree with this list. But some who were left out really made it unforgivable.

Well it still could be if a person don't mind illegally viewing the series.

Personally I'm looking forward to Knights and Magic the most out of this season. The other ones are he Gambling anime and the soccer anime where the main guy likes everything clean. To be honest the Fall listings I seen on Anichart looks to be way stronger than this seasons. My only hope is more Crunchyroll and HiDive and less Anime Strike. I would sub to Anime Strike if 1. I didn't have to have Prime for it and 2. It fixes the timing on subs cause I heard the timing is always bad and well that is a pet peeve of mine if I'm watching subs the subs has to start as soon as a character starts talking and leave the screen as soon as the character stops. It has to be timed perfectly for me if not I cringe it just bother me so much like it literally ruins my experience. Sorry I just can't do it

I'm quite amused that Netsuzou Trap made it to #8. It'll probably generate one of the biggest discussions for a short.

that's a surprise lol. also i wouldn't count Castlevania as an anime. Owned by a Japanese company, but all info I can find suggest it's being made entirety away from Japan. That's a far cry from being an anime. That would be like calling all those US cartoons that are produced by companies owned by Sony (like these https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sony_Pictures_Television_series#Adelaide_Productions) anime as well.

New Game!! is pretty much the only anime for summer that I have faith in. Fate probably will be good overall but my standards are really high for that franchise and I doubt they can come close to what ufotable did.

Eh' I can picture a large amount of people will still be watching it, although probably not through Amazon.

Right, just saying that it might not be the most anticipated show of the season anymore once you remove the people who voted for it but don't illegally watch anime. Wink

It's a Japanese poll. They couldn't care less about the US fan issues with Amazon. Also the Amazon double dipping thing is only a USA issue. Outside of the US you don't need to double dip to get simulcasts.

Forgettable show tops forgettable season; I guess something had to rank number 1.

About the only new title I'm a little interested in this season is Fate. Oh well, good chance to play all those games I got from the Steam sale.

They've mostly fixed the timing issues. Plus, they are really good about fixing issues quickly when they get notified of them. Of course, since they utilize a close captioning system for them, I suppose the results could vary depending on how you are watching.

RIP Sales, few are going to get Prime just to see that anime, your best bet is finding a "free" source to see that and not succumb to highway robbery if you do want to watch it.

Ah yes, the most anticipated upcoming anime series is locked behind a double-paywall.

As much as I love this series and want to support the mangaka/anime studio, the temptation to illegally watch this show is high.

Uh.....no, these are the results of ANN's user poll. It is not a Japanese poll. Maybe give the article another read over? >_>

While I disagree completely with the results of the poll as well there is no such thing as "bad taste" just different.
