I'll stop reading The Great Priest Imhotep scan-lation version when they announced the physical release for it.
I hate reading the official digital version. :/

Does anyone know Yen Press's policy on physical releases? Can digital releases become physical depending on sales? Curious in case I want either of these on my shelf.

IIRC, Today's Cerberus was originally digital-only, but later got a physical release.

If there's enough of a following, or the digital sells well, they'll do print releases for it. Here's a few examples of Digital-only titles that ended up getting Physical releases due to popularity:
Kakegurui
The Royal Tutor
Today's Cerberus
Servant x Service (albeit in omnibus format for print)
Aoharu x Machinegun
Sekirei (omnibus for print)
I'm sure there's more, but these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Both of these sound like series I'd like to check out! Hope they turn out well and receive a print release!

That a hero gets stronger or stronger resolve when party members perish isn't all too an unusual trope. Though it gets a kind of new nuance when the hero ACTIVELY invokes it to do his job...
