Nice, the all gang back together again, plus some new editions.

Nice editions, but this is only a few to what's to come. I wonder if the Beast Titan's English VA is going to be a surprise. But I hope it's either Ray Hurd or Andrew Love

Only really surprised by Jason C. Miller being in the dub. But yeah, also can't wait for the Beast Titan. Hopefully it's an EXTREMELY big name, though they're probably doing that for Stain the Hero Killer instead and can't afford it.

And not Gary Chalk? Well, that's just prime.

Am I the only one not bothered by the fact that Bryce Panpenbrook has the role as Eren yet voices Kirito in Sword Art Online? People are treating him as if he deserves a Razzie (he doesn't). Both shows' dubs are tolerable.

Sorry, I needed to vent that out. YouTube is unreasonably relentless at times. Regardless, I hope Funimation steps it up this time around and we don't get something so-so but good.

Really depends on the script this time around I believe. The dub I thought was pretty good for the first season in terms of acting (basically anything Mike McFarland directs is essentially guaranteed to be good in one form or another), but there were some things in the script (which was written by J. Micheal Tatum) that I found questionable.

For example I thought Mikasa was a bit too expressive early on in the series and some of the dialogue was a bit wonky in places.

That isn't to say Tatum is a bad writer, because he isn't by any means (Steins;Gate was/is amazing), but his scripts tend to divide fandoms sometimes (another notable example is the Free debacle a couple of years ago wherein most people praised the first season's dub but lambasted the second season for having too much "dude bro" speak, which is funny because Tatum wrote the script for both seasons so I don't know what happened there, most likely different head writers and directors).

All that being said, I have faith in second season od AOt and believe it will out do the first. Fingers and toes crossed just in case though.

The voice acting WAS good. It's the adaptive script that was so-so.

Yeah, Jacob Champman did mention the adaptive script was a mess where what was the intention came out as the exact opposite. There is some bad delivery though.
