Do these ads actually work? It's so comical the way they keep using anime characters to address serious societal problems. Imagine what it will look like if/when they start going after terrorism.

gave this anime a try. Two episodes in I came down with cancer. I'm puzzled as to why Funimation would waste time and resources simuldubbing this and Hand Shakers...

No. they don't work, but it's a cheap way to make it look like the police are actually doing something about a serious problem without actually having to leaving the corner koban to do a patrol.

The headline could be a bit more clear. "Illegal employment" can mean an illegal job or a job being done by illegal immigrants, of which the latter seems to be in the headline article.

I know it can be difficult to understand but different people do have different opinions on what is good. I dislike eldlive but like Hand Shakers notice how we share a similar opinion and a differing opinion. This concept can be strange and confusing so take your time figuring it out. I do hope this helped.

There's also the fact that ēlDLIVE's manga run has been pretty good so far (not spectacular, but stable) and has the same author as Reborn!
As for this poster itself, yeah, it feels like they just shoehorned the characters into the PSA. It reminds me of those Saturday morning specials like Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue! or commercials where the Ninja Turtles would tell some kid not to talk to strangers, only these are aimed at adults. (Well, I THINK it's aimed at adults, as adults would be a lot more likely to be concerned with employment than minors.)
What is this poster saying anyway? It's not the same situation as employment of illegal immigrants in the United States, is it?

Please don't tell me that they're trying to equate human beings to outer space alien monsters. I hope Abe's new immigration plan focuses on making it easier to employ and be employed in Japan as a foreign national, and making it harder to employ people illegally, and not only punishing people who accept illegal employment.
