There are some effective character moments for Vignette when she "turns on the demon" to make her point. It could have been a sight gag in a normal setting, but here it works better by reminding us of the premise. It also suggests that she isn't always as nice as she seems.
I would class Satanichia as more chuunibyou than tsundere. Her negative reactions stem from her delusions about her self-worth, rather than a conflict in her feelings about the other characters.

Yeah, there's no way I would classify Satania as a tsundere. Though I can see why some would think that with the way that she rejected Gabriel and Vignette's invitation to eat lunch together and then quickly stammered out that she'd make an exception this one time. Still though, that has nothing to do with her actual feelings of love or hate. She did want their company but did not want to be seen as beneath them by accepting their invitation since she is or at least views herself as the future ruler of hell.
Honestly, I really, really like Satania's character. Her haughty sense of self-importance being withered down to a sobbing mess by either the teacher, Gabriel, Raphiel, and the dog always make me laugh. The bit in the most recent episode of Raphiel getting Sataniya to get her food at the convenience store even though she proposed to be Sataniya's subject was my favorite of the episode.
That said, I'd put episode 2 below episode 1 by a decent margin. The scene with the class representative reacting to Gabriel and Vignette talking about the two different assignments did not amuse me one bit. She needed to actually interact with them, I think, just having her mentally comment on everything they're saying wasn't nearly as fun as the rest of the gags in the show so far.

It is feeling like a kind of midway between Yuru Yuri and Himouto Umaru-chan. Umaru for the kind of degenerate main character with some like gags, and Yuru Yuri for some of the character interaction. Kind of feels like Yuru Yuri with a more accessible story (less yuri jokes). And a troll character that reminds me of the oft forgotten Kill Me Baby.

I figured that Gabriel met Vignette and Satania while she was still a goody goody, not after she fell apart. The original manga actually basically starts when she's already an addict, so the early parts of episode 1 are original content.
Agreed with the other posters that Satania's by far the best part of this show.

someone else Thought the character design and colour palette scream "mitsudomoe", hell, Vigne even straight out looks like a grown out version of hitoha, and satania acts like a toned down version of mitsuba.

I got a particular kick out of the scene where its revealed that Raphiel has been training the dog to fetch Satania's lunch...

episode 3 review
no mention of the full frontal nudity ?
I generally like it when the characters dynamics are different depending on whom is interacting with whom, which is why azumanga is still high on my list, so I was glad to see this show doing that (though one could argue that all quality iyashikei does that, but I am not seeing interviews dong that actually)

It's, the holy ray keep everything family friendly.
Loved that gag, it's visual, make fun of fan service, use the setting, and stay in the show afterward without detracting from the next gag.

I am glad to see other people found episode 3 enjoyable because in my case the family friendly holy right was the only joke that made me laugh.
I guess they just didn't land for me this time

Best episode so far.
All the coffee shop skits were so funny. I felt sorry for the owner. I lost it at the land mine.
Hopefully no one tells him that Vignette is actually a demon and not an angel.
Though if ask me, I think Raphiel is the real demon.

I found the OP/ED songs catchier than usual, and thought they were fairly well produced. Decided to look up who composed the songs, and apparently it's Kenichi Maeyamada, aka Hyadain. Well that explains things.

I'm amused that by actually showing Gabriel and Vigne's backstory the episode earned a lower grade from the reviewer when the reviewer had wanted to see how the two met in prior episode reviews.
