Disappointed neither Viz or Kodansha picked up Billy Bat Crying or Very sad. Golden Kamuy sounds interesting so I'll give that a shot.

So Viz got hands on the Golden Kamui. Nice, that manga is really splendid.
Hopefully there will be anime adaptation soon.

The manga centers on Saichi Sugimoto, a veteran of the Russo-Japanese war who heads to Hokkaido to find gold to take care of the wife of his fellow soldier. He teams up with an Ainu hunter named Asirpa to find a hidden stash of gold stored by criminals.

Really? They actually think there's a market for it here like in Japan?

This is coming from someone who imports the manga, I have not seen a Re novel come out of japan yet and the image they had on their slide during the panel was of Re vol 1 manga. They must have gotten confused on what they had licensed.

The story follows a different main character than Ishida's original Tokyo Ghoul manga.

Yeah, might want to remove that from the article.

Still, it took Viz a while to get ;re. They're releasing the original manga at a steady rate but it seems a little slow imo. Can't wait to get the ;re volumes though.

Those are some great licenses.

Tokyo Ghoul:re was kind of expected and I'm glad to know that it's officially licensed, especially at the rate that we've been receiving the firs series here.

Vampire Knight Memories is a great license for fans of the series, but I don't really know much about it so I can't really say how much I'm interested or not - will check it out though as I did mostly enjoy the original series.

Finally, I'm truly excited about Golden Kamui. The concept sounds great, and continues to show why I love manga so much, and will definitely be going into my personal collection when it comes out here.

Overall, while it is disappointing that Viz didn't license series like Snow White with the Red Hair or March Comes in Like a Lion (two that I would love to see picked up for release here), what they did announce is exciting and I'm eager to check out each of them in some way or another.

Golden Kamuy sounds interesting. I love that another historical manga is getting translated, and it's more than just standard shonen fare or a shoujo romance. I'll definitely be adding that to my collection.

Ooo, so the side stories for VK are finally getting an physical release... awesome! I've really wanted to read the story spoiler[that had a lot of focus on Sayori and Aido's relationship], but I also wanted to read the other stories too. Of course, I'm interested in the sequel series too, but I'm a little more excited about all of the side stories getting a physical release first, since last I knew they were solely digital-only.

Now if only the bonus chapters - at least I think chapters - for Ouran would get a physical release...

I'm hoping Viz eventually releases the other Naruto data books and the Fullmetal Alchemist kanzenban editions.

Viz seems to be dropping the ball on stuff that i actually want for a long time now the only new releases i actually bought from them in recent years is One Piece,JOJO,Master Keaton and some Junji Ito stuff they where way better when they still had those editor's choice etc lines ... Sad

Don't get me started on Vertical though they used to be so awesome now i'm like what the hell was that Vertical thing again ...
