He's really prominent, being part of the Apatow Chapter and a cast member on SNL. For voice, he is best known as Flint Lockwood in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Fear in Inside Out. |

This is actually a good casting choice. Bill Hader can be really funny when he plays a terrible person (or in this case robot). It will be weird to see the voice of BB-8 as alpha the very punch able robot.

I think that Hader is the perfect choice to play Alpha. Now the question is what will this new Alpha look like.

Love Bill Hader, so i'm good with this. Heck, i'm such a big fan, I might this movie even if it ends up being terrible. Hader was my favorite cast member when he was on SNL. Now just add in Andy Samberg somehow, and i'll be seeing this no matter what.

Surly a trailer must be due any time now? They got 6 months till release to plug this film and all we have are cast announcements, posters, and the odd image.

As much as I was hoping for Aaron Paul for the lulz of Walter and Jesse, this is a good choice. He's funny, has experience with VA work, and is recognizable.

At this point I feel like I don't even care about who's playing the Rangers or even how anything else turns out. Zordon and Alpha can carry it themselves.
