I highly recommend this anime, as I do with pretty much every Yasuhiro Imagawa anime. The man is a criminally underrated director with a spectacular, dramatic flair but also capable of depicting moral complexities and well-executed thematic weight. Shin Mazinger is more on the style side, but it has its own substance as well.

this is a bit surprising seeing as how shin mazinger is available in the US, the only thing I don't like about crunchyroll is that 1.) it constantly freezes on my PS4, 2.) it's slow as hell on my tablet, 3.) it keeps randomly skipping on me on my WiiU, and don't even get me started on my pc

I've been thinking about getting into this series for a long time, sadly it looks like I won't be able to. CR really need to get more titles available for countries outside of NA.

One of my top ten anime of all time finally makes it to an official stream site? Better late than never I supposed, now if only the munchy crunchies would add lots of Go Nagai titles as well.

It's about time. I never get why no other streaming web sites pick up Shin Mazinger Z when it was airing in Japan at the time?
