Precure really has been in decline for years... I fear for the day when Toei might have to end it for good.

Soah Sazae-san's rankings are really bad, is there any reason for that? Because just a few years ago I remember the share was around 15-20%

This was weak week overall so this probably because of Rio Olympics.

I have to wonder how the rest of Pokémon XY & Z will fare after Ash's alleged spoiler[defeat at the Kalos League]? From what I saw, at least on the Western side of the Pokémon community, many were hoping that he would come out a winner.

^ What does Ash have to do with this chart?
We really got to appreciate these last Shippuden moments. Might never make the top 10 again. |

I don't know why considering how they've had him job in the other leagues for literally no reason. |

Precure won't get cancelled till it falls regularly to sub 1.0 like Bleach did. Being at the bottom of the top 10 is hardly bad. And besides procure still does well in merchandising. Look at Naruto's profit compared to it's ratings. TV Tokyo is 14.4 billion 23 million yen (up 74.4%), gross profit has surged 4.8 billion 89 million yen (up 102.0%) sales Sales 1.Naruto 2.Yo-kai Watch 3.Gintama 4.Yu-Gi-Oh! 5.Pokemon Gross Profit 1.Yo-kai Watch 2.Naruto 3.Pokemon 4.Gintama 5.Yu-Gi-Oh! source: http://www.animeanime.biz/archives/22740 |
