I like the promo poster better than the preview so far. Could be a hit or miss, guess we'll have to see.

both male and female avatars you play as have official names.
Male = Gran
female = Dejeeta
also if you talking about a release for the mobile game pretty sure thats not going to happen other then the english patch they put out themselves

Nobuo Uematsu the latest to sell out to this outfit. Anyone left at this point? Looks kind of generic fantasy in the PV though it doesn't really show much. When A-1 is involved though you can bet on some sort of commercial angle and excessive promotion so I bet this snowballs from here. The directors last show essentially fell apart on the production line like a lot of A-1 stuff lately but somehow I suspect that that's far from a concern with this.

It feels like many major creators in Japan just seems to be practically throwing themselves and their franchises exclusively at Aniplex lately for frankly unnecessary anime adaptations and what doesn't look like much of an equal return and usually their work ends up suffering or being warped by it into some sort of one dimensional commercialized thing the more they stick with them. I assume they pay handsomely to use all these peoples names and brands to try to make money off of and the degree to which it's been happening at least to me looks a lot like selling out.
You'd have to take this whole trend into account of course and the fact that quite often they just give these people that totally wing it and put out bad anime. It also makes little sense to entrust an adaptation of your franchise to for example a director whose sole major credit is directing the Nanoha Vivid animation that fell apart and never even got a proper home video release. It makes it look these people don't really care what happens with these adaptations as long as they get their money which again looks like selling out.

AH I see what you mean now tho honestly with this one its a wait and see for me since A-1 IMO feels hit or miss to me in their works but i have abit of hype since the IP in question is pretty much cygames baby I can see this ending alot of ways.

Gran looks so good. I lo ve him though i wish hr were a different class (any harpist class in bard outfit or his thief one that shows his cute upper body).
I wonder how far into the game will it get. Im up to ch 29.
I hope vira is still as katalina obsessed as she is in game lol.

Recently Nobuo has been attached to a lot of random things (many of which don't really do well) and honestly, it's not really selling out though since he worked on the music for the original Granblue game, lol.
Should probably mention he did quite a lot of FFXIV music before the reboot. (and since then done one track for the reboot, I think... Dragonsong)

the background style reminds ya of grimgar while the cast kinda reminds me of cerberus(blue haired chick for example etc) which both aired also during winter 2016. Anyway it does look promising with this art lets just hope the story will be atleast as good as grimgar had and not some failure like cerberus with a wimpy MC....

I wonder if that's going to be the start of the anime's downfall.
