The only thing the S will increase is the MAU.

Sooner than I thought. I will probably upgrade because of the 4K UHD player. Decent standalone units are a ripoff. No other reason to get this otherwise really.
Although the internal power supply and smaller size are decent extras. |

The original X360 I had got the RROD, so then I bought the Slim. And that turned out wonderful. I haven't bought a XBone yet, but I may not have to worry now that the XBone S is out. Although the only thing I would probably buy it for is Gears of War and Halo.

Ya can get this, then trade it in when Scorpio comes out, and still keep the games:

One of the main reasons I preferred the Xbox 360 over the PS3 was because of the Xbox 360's controller. I don't have abnormally large hands, however, the Playstation's controller only fits half-way in my hands and, after a few hours, the muscles below my right thumb get very sore from the placement of the joystick. With that said, I really love the look and feel of the new Xbox One controllers, but by the time I actually get around to purchasing an Xbox One console, I'll have a hard time figuring out which controller is the most up-to-date. Do they have version numbers, or will I have to buy bundle/special-edition ones to ensure that I'm getting the newest model?
