Can someone link me the picture of the girl on the bicycle that is used as a thumbnail of this post?

Free has a 'reputation'? For fanservice? Am I reading this right, because it sounds off.

I might have been more tempted if there were Haikyuu merch, but even so I'm not really into paying 30 bucks for the chance of getting one or two trinkets I may like

It sort of feels off to headline a crate featuring two of the biggest recent fujoshi bait series with a pretty anime girl illustration (you know, as opposed to pretty guys).

Unless, of course, the two of them are hardcore fujos and they are furiously biking to Otome Road to snag some limited edition merchandise.

Yay I am considering canceling for this box.
They really failed on this box for me. No offense but free is really over done/saturated to me. There is so much merch for it already I really doubt that they would include anything approaching unique or nice.

And pedal is so old news now a days it is irrelevant! Seriously you could have had kuroko's basketball, haikyuu, prince of stride, heck even baby steps, ace of diamonds, or even prince of tennis and you choose pedal....sigh!
For the first time ever I am skipping a month because this one is totally not going to be worth it, and I normally get two boxes!

God, for the money people spend on this stuff, you could go to your local anime convention and get better stuff (of your choice) for far cheaper.

Maybe it's just that that word gets used to describe everything these days, but I really don't remember Free! putting that much emphasis on self-sacrifice. Discipline, maybe, but that's something completely different, IMO. The only one who really tried to sacrifice anything was called on his BS.

They're a year too late/early for YowaPeda, though. Old series ended, new series starts next year. About the only relevant YowaPeda anything lately is the movies going up on Crunchyroll. Aren't they a backer now? Mystery solved.

Unless they plan on announcing more titles later on for the crate, it would be a real shame for it not to have at least something from Haikyuu or Kuroko no Basket.
I mean, I get why they added Free!, and can kinda see why they put in Splatoon, but Yowamushi Pedal? It is a sports anime, but I didn't know it was even that popular.
I mean, I never hear people hardcore talking about the series that I have with other sports anime.

Seconded. I like the artwork. I wonder who's the artist?

Uhm, you do realize Yowapeda came out last year, right? Why are you calling it "old news" when you have Prince of Tenis. Baby Steps and Diamond no Ace are from around the same time frame as Yowapeda, and the last season of Kurobas aired at the same time than Yowapeda Grande Road. You're not making a whole lot of sense

Yowamushi Pedal was so cheesy and was typical anime over dramatization. I'm a cyclist so i figured this would be interesting. It wasnt they took the small aspects of cycling like the wind oh god the wind! its such a barrier and just dramatized it into this whole episode big drama thing that was just cringy. They did it over and over with other things that I just couldn't keep watching. If they had taken a more serious take to the whole series instead of making it cartoony and cringy it would have been great.

These crates always include more series than just 2. These are just 2 of the roughly up to 6 that you usually see in a crate. Calm down people lol. I just got my last months one and it was: DBZ, Yokai Watch, FMA, A Boy & His Beast, & the new crunchyroll/loot anime mascot girls.

Also It is anime merch at a very cheap price. I am happy receiving cool stuff from all generations of anime not just "relevant" anime...

I wonder why they didn't mention Splatoon here as I remember seeing Loot Anime promote it elsewhere.

A lot of people don't have conventions near them so for them this is a great way to get merch from their favorite shows.
