Doujin = fan-made, amateur, or non-commercial, depending on context. In this case, it probably means a small independent publisher with only a few (or just one) staff members. A doujin-shi is a doujin publication, for comparison.

Just curious but does anyone know the name of that red flower in the picture? I see it around a lot, so might as well learn it as my trivia knowledge :p

That is a red spider lily, native to China and Japan I believe. More trivia: my favorite flower, the hydrangea, is also native. But this one is a close second. |
