The graphical differences are substantial enough I guess but it also seems like the PS3 version has trouble staying at 60(or is it 30?)fps, whereas the PS4 has no trouble at all. Easy choice for me

The game looks fine, but my beef with it is the lack of even trying when it comes to facial expressions and lip syncing. They literally learned nothing from the backlash that Star Ocean 4 got.

The PS4 version will be running 1080p @ 60 fps whereas the PS3 version is supposed to be 720p @ 30 fps and it seems they're struggling to even hit that for the PS3. Purchase decision seems a nobrainer for me ... PS4!

Were you looking at the Japanese or English trailers? The lip sync was fairly off for the English trailer but it looks like they just put the English audio straight over the Japanese trailer. Not sure if they will redo the lip flap movements for the English version of the game but to be honest it's not a huge issue.

Lip flaps aren't hard to fix, but its just the facial expressions overall that bug me. they look so flat. Like, you might see the occasional glimpse of emotion, but otherwise there aren't a lot of visual que's for emotion. I wouldn't expect Final Fantasy levels of production value, but I expected at least more from this game.

While the indoor areas for the PS3 don't look as bad, the outdoor sections looks really rough. Not to mention 60fps will make a big difference. PS4 version all the way.

Well it looks like they were showing off PS3 footage for a lot of the game play footage earlier as most of it lacked any dimension and real detail.
Looks like it's really shaping up, but the fact that the lip-flaps are bad in a trailer this close to release doesn't inspire confidence, but then again Tri-Ace never was very good at syncing audio with lip-flaps to start with.
Looks like NA may only get the PS4 version of this though.
