I was going to ask something similar: Have we been spelling Jean-Pierre Polnareff's name wrong this whole time? (It looks like it's spelled as "Jan P. Polnaref" here.)

Jan is just shirt for Jannet, so the box probably just has a typo.

I'm really sorry for resurrecting this topic, but I've figured it out. "Jan, P. Polnaref" is not a typo. That was Polnareff's intentionally-misspelled name he wrote in Enya's hotel guestbook:



Sheesh, what a reference. Give me a break.
