The setting's post-catastrophe, huh? Didn't expect that from a show that looks like this.

The setting surprised me a bit. I thought this is going to be another comfy SoL anime. Nonetheless, this looks fun.

Even if it had a manga version to promote it, the manga is arguably the source material. I feel that it would be truly an original anime if the anime came first. That is, the manga would be based off of the anime,

Here's hoping it's an otome game since Idea Factory has a nice catalog of those...

Yeah, that would be great.
But if it isn't, I hope it'll have another all-girls cast, or at least a gal protagonist; the only thing that kept me from playing Fairy Fencer F was exactly the lack of both.

Considering Neptunia is pretty much all female, I don't doubt that there will be a high percentage, if not all female cast in the next game. That said not playing a game because its not all female and doesn't have a female protagonist is stupidest thing I have ever heard of, those criteria probably exclude you from playing most games.

Found a random typo when browsing the anime site... Character name should probably be "Mikan Irako", not "Mikan Ichiko"...? At least that's what the furigana suggests.

The synopsis sounds like a SoL centered around divers; sounds like an interesting approach.

Damnit. I like IMS, the character designs are nice, and the story sounds interesting. But since aniplex is involved if I like the series I most likely won't be able to afford it.

On the bright side it'll also mean it's going to look wonderful. since aniplex related shows always have high production quality
