I am very excited for this one, probably the series I was most anticipating watching this season, and am glad that Crunchyroll picked it up. After the long delay for Amagi Brilliant Park, and the lack of a legal method of watching Hyouka, I wasn't totally sure whether this one would suffer the same fate.
I'm really glad that it didn't and that I'll be able to watch it before heading off to work tomorrow! |

I hope Sentai (or NISA) is able to pick up this title. If this is a PonyCan title, I will be nervous because of the shenanigans that went on with Rokka.
I am inclined to believe that Hyouka was an unusual case because streaming was just beginning to catch up steam in early 2012, when it began airing. Although, Amagi not being simulcasted was also strange. |

Wut? The countries named may have their reasons, but why exclude a single province(South Tyrol) if the rest of Italy can see it? Only thing I can think of is something to do with language, all named (aside from Asia) are mainly German speaking... |

It was strange. There was really no excuse for not simulcasting Amagi, but I felt the same way about the huge delay in Netflix getting Seven Deadly Sins. Hyouka is definitely that unfortunate one that no one seems to be able to license. I really just want to own it, more than stream it at this point, and would love it if Sentai could get a hold of it. Also, I totally agree. Sentai getting this series would be the best option. I would hate it, as well, if Pony Canyon got it. |

I don't see anything about PC being on the production committee for this one, so I think that's a pretty good sign. Given NISA's inactivity of late, I think it's a pretty good bet for Sentai. |

From someone who went to the preview showing, the production committee is: Kyoto Animation Pony Canyon Lantis ABC Asahi The last member owns the international rights to the show. PonyCan USA has only acquired titles their parent company had the international rights for. It's highly unlikely they'll have this show, especially as they've not announced/promoted it at all unlike their other titles. |

Oh, okay. Interesting. Is that always how the order works? With the last member owning distribution rights, or just in this case? Either way, I'm glad to get clarification on that. I guess the ANN encyclopedia isn't entirely up to date on it yet. |

So, by those standards, what series should people be looking forward to? This one, while a fairly typical premise, looks like it has given its characters some cool powers and the characters themselves seem like they could be a lot of fun. That's enough for me to be excited and eager to watch this one. If that isn't a good reason to be excited, I don't really know what is anymore then. Gotta have hope that the series that appeal to people will turn out to be great in the long run. |

It's just for this case. When KyoAni began to produce and finance the majority of production costs for shows themselves, they had to enlist some other companies to handle digital distribution in Japan and international rights handling. For Chunibyo, Tamako, and Beyond the Boundary, that was TBS. For Free!, it was ABC Asahi (as it is here). For Euphonium, Pony Canyon handled that in addition to publicity and video distribution. Order in the committee just reflects the order of financial contribution. It's likely not in the encyclopedia because editors/contributors may not have seen those tweets/reports and would wait for the first episode to broadcast before adding them. Sadly, the encyclopedia also organizes alphabetically, which ruins the order displayed and order in how shows are financed as well, which is why I just use the Japanese Wikipedia/credits instead. |

It's often dependent on the source material, the creative staff, and who is producing the show. Something by KyoAni is almost always going to be above average, so that is what's driving a lot of the hype for this show. There are always going to be disappointments, but most don't end up being a complete let down in the end, in my experience, if you pay attention to who is creating your anime. |

While I am happy that CR got this, I think they are a long ways away from what I consider the ultimate availability. That is, uncensored and true region-free (outside of said countries blocking the site), save for Japan.
