In less extreme language, yes, I'll be trying to get to these when they show in Melbourne. They've had some good stuff in past years.

Not so many movies outside of Sydney and Melbourne.
Miss Hokusai is on my wishlist though.

Shame there's no Pantema in Sydney, but I was planning on watching that anyway.
Well, looks like at least in my city there's a five-movie five-person deal or something. Time to find four more friends I guess.

Aggravatingly the timing this year is terrible, I'm out from Perth this weekend and the Melbourne leg falls during Melbourne International Games Week.
And they have so many damn good films to watch, Assassination Classroom and Bakuman. especially!

I didn't know they repeated movies for these things - I saw Pantema last year.
Really hoping I can see Kuragehime...

The older titles tend to be part of the JFF Minis, free screenings in regional areas. So it's a win for all

Saw Miss Hokusai in Adelaide yesterday, quite enjoyed it.
It did succeed in transporting you to the era and at least to my ears used spoken language that was appropriate for the times and the people who spoke it.
