I wonder how much drive space you need in order to fit Fatal Frame 5. It's a shame it's not getting a physical release.

Really hope there will eventually be a physical release for Fatal Frame. I just don't get digital-only console releases.

Can't wait for 'Fatal Frame' and 'Star Fox Zero'!
Let the whining over digital only begin.

I'm excited for Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon. It seems that that title has enough adventures to last for more than a year.

He's on about Fatal Frame, Starfox is getting a physical release as usual.
Sadly I'm not surprised about the digital only option. The Wii U has mostly been targeted at all ages so you have a very limited mature audience combined with Wii U's less then great sales and that this is a survival horror game, there's not too much profit to be had in making discs for it.
Even the European physic version is only the limited edition with very limited numbers, and that sold out quickly on Nintendo's Online Store, like under an hour (Though Game.co.uk has it on their site but no idea how long for.).

Ahhh that makes much more sense. As for fatal frame I am not surprised. No one knows about it so its safe to avoid costs by just putting it on the eshop

As for digital-only releases, they eliminate the problem of having to figure out how many copies to manufacture and any middlemen. It's the better way to go if you're completely unsure of how well your game will sell.

I just wish they'd consider doing limited physical releases. If it's a low print run and it sells out fast, fair enough. Then people who wanted a physical copy have nobody but themselves to blame for not jumping on buying it. It would be nice to have that option though.

Yeah, it would be. Ideally, you'd have both physical and digital. Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure had a very limited physical release, so it became scarce in a hurry until it was released digitally on the 3DS eShop several months later.
