This is moreso a question out of curiosity.
The Cain Saga, a prequel to Godchild, has been recently released as a Shojo Beat title from Viz. It's on the SB website and everything, but when I flip through my SJ mag & look at the SB ad for the newest SB manga, it's not listed at all. =\ Is there a reason for this? To all those who read/buy SB, was it ever listed in the "Latest Releases" page(s) in the SB issues in which it would be shown in (I think it'd be the October & December issues in this case)? |

They usually don't list every single new volume they're releasing. Chances are, it wasn't chosen to be featured.

I haven't seen any mention of it, but I also haven't been looking.
The SB ads never have all the SB manga listed there, just like the SJ ads don't show all the SJ titles. They just pick a few. I am a bit surprised that Cain hasn't been shown though, since Godchild was at one point in the SB magazine, but as I said, it might have been mentioned but I didn't make a note of it, since I didn't overly like Godchild very much and have no interest in purchasing either it or Cain. |

If you're on the Shojo Beat e-mail list, they've mentioned Cain Saga on there several times. I can't recall if they mentioned it in the actual magazine or not....

Really? But judging from the other ads I've seen for the newest SJ/SB manga releases in the past for the last 12+ issues or so, EVERY new title that would be released for that month would be listed. =\ |
