Samurei7, Crusher Joe and DO are integral parts of my growing addiction to anime. Takizawa iwas a vital member of the community and here will be missed.

He was quite involved in a few Gundam projects, I see. Respectable works.

Though it's not exactly the best example of quality anime, Big Wars was actually one of the first anime movies I ever saw and one that helped get me into the medium. Sad to hear that Takizawa has passed, but it seems he really left his mark in the anime industry.

As the world loses talented people, we must take note on the impact that they leave on the fields they worked in. Even if we don't see eye to eye with them, we could at least recognize their talent.

Jesus H Christ this year just won't stop with the deaths in the anime community. I watched many of his directed works growing up. It's at least comforting to know he was still living life until the very end.

You are fondly remembered.
I had a good friend who died from esophageal cancer. It wasn't pretty; the man literally starved to death because his esophagus was cut off by the tumor. I still miss him.

What a loss, too young to pass away.
Rest in Peace, Toshifumi Takizawa-sensei.

(sigh) Too young. Had to be one of the best if he helped create some of the best.
