Not a big fan of either's music. I liked that Space Pirates song but I've tried nearly every song they've released since and kinda meh. cool for the fans tho

Momoko Clover is really growing on me :3 I wasn't expecting a collaboration with Kiss to be so good! I really liked the music they did for Sailor Moon Crystal too.

I find it highly ironic that Gene Simmons, the guy who in the press has said "every little college kid, every freshly-scrubbed little kid’s face should have been sued off the face of the earth" and "should be made to work like nazis" is coming to an event filled with that exact demographic.

It's funny how at this point I feel far more disappointed in Momoiro Clover Z for collaborating with KISS than the other way around.

Put it this way. The sort of people who'd get angry at a band doing a collaboration like this aren't the same people who KISS are marketing their music towards.

I for one support this more on principal than anything and it may do both groups good for different reasons. Not a big follower of either group (the song Beth aside) so as long as thier work sounds "good" I think more neutral people will get attracted to both.

CNN just recently did a half-hour piece on KISS. Yeah, while his other KISS partner leans more on the artistry, Gene is all about business. Part of his mansion is dedicated to all kinds of KISS merchandise. He estimates the KISS brand worth to be somewhere between $1-5 billion. Behind all that mask, he's a pretty smart businessman. He knows how to do branding.
