Well, the signs were all there. Makes sense now. Unfortunate.

I'm not sure it's directly related in such a simple manner, but as far as Fate/Extra's quality go, I just can't be surprised to see this.

I never liked their games and from all accounts Time and Eternity is one of the worst games of previous generation, but at least their president is alive...I hope.
I only played Fate/Extra and BRS, both were pretty average products, Fate's battle system was a massive pain in the ass. Good luck to workers, hopefully with so much experience it'll be easier for them to find a job,

Somehow doesn't shock me to hear that they weren't meeting sales targets. I mean they got to make an rpg out of a very popular source material on a very popular platform, and then they decide that all combat will be glorified rock paper scissors...

That's unfortunate, but the signs were there.

They made a lot of average games but they also developed one of my favorite rpgs, Sands of Destruction. I really enjoyed it.

They needed a few games that'd sell to more people.

I actually liked Time and Eternity and Yoshi's New Island... well. That's how things are.

This is sad news to me. Luminous Arc was what got me into the visual novel medium, and it was also the game that my grade 12 game design assignment was based on and made me want to become a game developer. Haven't been keeping track of the company's releases ever since, but from the sound of this forum they haven't been making good games for a while, which is really surprising to me considering how good Luminous Arc was at the time.

But where is the missing guy? I hope he is okay. Did they ever end up finding him?

At least Luminous Arc got bought, Marvelous has a knack for making games with harem and ecchi good and Stella Glow as well by Sega, as it looks to be a good game.

So is this the moment to buy Time and Eternity?
I would assume the price will increase due to the shortening of the supply.
