Volcanoes are known for not being cooperative. Hope it all settles down without a major eruption.

I always pay a visit to Hakone to get my hot spring fix whenever I visit Japan, I stayed at a hotel near the top of the mountain not far from the Owakudani hot springs last October. Had an utterly gorgeous view of Fuji-san from a private outdoor hot spring, well worth the money.

It's a little reminder that Japan is extremely active seismically. Hopefully the eruption doesn't destroy any nearby towns or cities.

I'm hoping those tremors are just that...tremors. It would be disheartening to see the area of Hakone shut down after the studios of Evangelion and Initial D spent so much money setting up the events.

This article reminded me of the eruption of Unzen Fugen-dake.

For fudge's sakes, they aren't race tracks, they're mountain roads. Initial D is about illegal street racing.

I noticed that too and asked Lynzee to correct it last night.
