Ah the nostologia...
Actually, I kinda like this visual. Definitely has more attractive than one of the previous ones. Kinda curious to see how many episodes this sequel will have also. |

maybe I'm reading it wrong, but on Kinoko Yamada's wikipedia it looks like her and Shihomi Mizowaki are the same person - she just changed stage names
in any case, I'm glad they could round everyone up for the anniversary edit-oops, looks like someone beat me to it |

Oh man, don't try accessing the official Digimon Adventure website--it has been down 90% of the time since that image's release.
Which means a lot of people are trying to access the page at once. Or at least enough to do this. |

Does anyone have an update on that remastered version of the first season that will be out in DVD or Blu-ray sometime this year? I haven't been following that since they first announced.

If you mean the 15th anniversary one, it came out on the 3rd. It's quite a nice set actually. |

Well, I am very carefully looking forward to this... My enthusiasm for series revivals has after all gotten quite the damper in the year since Crystal. I have quite some fond memories of Digimon. Over here it was one of the earliest anime to come out with the initial boom and also one of the dubs that was altogether above average. We definitely had an advantage over the American market as most of the songs were kept just with German vocal and new lyrics (which are surprisingly good). As such, it remains one of the few German anime of which I still adore and possess almost all CDs of the soundtrack (From first season all the way to Frontier at least).
So, I hope this doesn't turn out a complete disappointment. |

yes very nostalgic. Also it will probably have as many episodes as all the other series. If it did not that would really surprise me. It might also mean that they are trying to go with a more serious tone with this series, that what the art makes me think when I see it so who really knows how many episodes it has since all the ones in the past lasted over a year. |

The German music dubs were so good I was a fan, and I don't know any German past middle school language class. Wonder if the song will be an entirely new recording of Butter-Fly or just a new mix? Since I know Wada Kouji was having some health problems. I'm guessing Maeda Ai will do the ending since she's playing Mimi again. And speaking of Mimi, from the visuals of her in uniform I take it she moved back to Japan? Edit: Also just noticed - Are Hikari and Takeru going to different middle schools? Wada Kouji has a new (mini) album coming out on the 25th called "Re-fly". It pretty likely that if it'll be on that album, it will be a new remix. Also, Ayumi Miyazaki confirmed on his Twitter earlier that brave heart will be remixed!
