So is it correct to assume that this game wont be coming to PS Vita, or any Sony console for that matter, since it's 3DS atm?

Yes, the main SK series is only on Nintendo consoles. SK2 is a 3DS-only game. The spinoff Versus games are on Sony consoles though.

Nice, XSeed seems to be on a roll with this series. Now we just have to wait for an Estival Versus announcement...

So Nintendo is fine with releasing something like this here, but they censor Bravely Default? I don't even...

Nintendo released Bravely Default. They have nothing to do with Senran Kagura, thank god. Nintendo only has to give XSEED authorization to publish the game on the system, since Nintendo gets paid a fee for every game on their system they would be crazy to say no.

Though it's also worth noting that when making Bayonetta 2 the development team contacted Nintendo with concerns that the sexuality would be too strong for Nintendo. Nintendo responded with saying to make it as sexual as they wanted (within a M-rating of course) since they knew that's how a Bayonetta game is meant to be done. So Nintendo isn't always one to shoot down this sort of thing even if they have the chance.

It's also worth noting that the censoring was done by NoA, take a look at Fire Emblem: Awakening, for example. NoJ let the Tharja scene pass, but it was too much for NoA...
Anyway, preordered myself a regular version from Marvelous Europe, the limited editions weren't worth it imo. (Though if I was fast enough to preorder the version with the creators autograph, I would have done it, but nah)

I wouldn't genuinely label Versus as a spin-off game.

This is, by far, the most amusing feature to me. Will it be released in time for Anime Expo?
