Because fundraising for disaster relief is such a terrible thing. I think you're confusing this for an art contest. I'm positive nobody in Japan is looking angry when receiving free money, especially if they've got an arm in a sling. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I've seen that picture. It's different when, y'know, the pictures are actually making money to help the survivors rather than as a form of armchair activism. Honestly, I was irritated at the people jumping on the 'hope for japan' bandwagon on DA too, but that's why I joined a comic project similar to this one called Japan Needs Heroes, which has raised almost 13k so far between its two phases.
