And yet again they tried to troll us with the whole "last anime project" thing they said for the movie.
Great news. I sure hope they get to animate the latest arc, because it was EPIC.

I KNEW IT. I knew they couldn't leave us hanging with that 1 episode ova to celebrate the 10th anniversary and all that sunrise bullshit about how the 2nd movie was "final" AND SPRING 2015 SO SOOOOOOON. LONG LIVE GINTAMA. LONG LIVE GORILAAAAAAAAAA.

THIS IS FANTASTIC NEWS! I have never watched an anime as long as Gintama before, so I'm always up for more episodes for me to spend my life watching! Although I do need to finish the 64 episodes that I haven't seen. But, I should be able to do that before April.
Spring is going to be a HUGE season!

Heh, I remember coming out of the movie theater after watching the 2nd movie and thought to myself "this wasn't going to be the end of Gintama". The show is beyond the levels of comedy gold. It's transcended to comedy diamond. But comedy aside, I love the story arcs and the action scenes as well. That's why I'm an avid follower of the manga.

YES!! I'm so happy about this.
Really, all they need to do is animate the current arc and that would have satisfied me. It really is the best and longest Gintama arc ever.

This.
When Naruto, One Piece, Bleach or most other shows will do a "last/final" project, we (the viewers) can take it at face value. But when Gintama pulls something similar...
The Troll King is coming back
