You me both. I enjoyed the original series, but frankly I don't need a rerun of it which looks exactly as the same as what I already watched. I don't understand Japanese media anymore, they burn people out before they get their money. I wonder how much of the 2nd movie will include the second half of the later part of the season. I have to admit I was not impressed the series' last episode, I personally wanted to see more of the American ships. Way series ended, with half of them living in San Diego resolving the plot of the show just about. |

I'm quite disappointed that the anime took the Anime Original route instead of staying closer to the source material, because the manga had some nice battles and character interaction scenes.
Might check it out, but I'm more interested in the 2nd movie |
