Isn't the final movie titled Evangelion 1.0 +3.0? 4D sounds even worse, why can't they be consistent and keep it as 4.0 ...

I have no idea what this is either, but it better not be a recap movie of 1.0-3.0, like Death and Rebirth. Really hope it's something to do with 4.0

It's more than likely not connected to the movies. It's probably more of a spinoff-esque show. Think Shrek 4D or Spongebob 4D in the US/UK. I hope something cool comes out of it, though. |

4D seems to refer to movies that take place in theaters with physical effects like water sprays and shaking seats. It's been so long since I've seen Evangelion that I can't remember how these effects might be added to the story.
I rather hoped it meant they had perfected time travel and could move the entire theater along the fourth dimension. |
