Hopefully a proper anime adaptation although I have some doubts.

The only thing that'd possibly matter is a new anime, live-action adaptations can go end themselves.

Anime?

Anime.

I mean, it's freakin' Arakawa, of course it's gonna get an anime adaptation sooner or later.

...anime not in Arakawa's style? I have nothing against her as an artist, I just associate Arslan with the earlier OVAs and absolutely love the art style. When I look at Arakawa's art, I just think of FMA.

To be honest, I have a similar reaction, but in reverse, when it comes to the original. All I see there is Final Fantasy due to Amano's involvement.

A proper R1 DVD release of the original movies and OVAs would be nice, only reason I've beebn holding off buying the old NTSC-PAL-NTSC release we got eons ago.

Anime please!

New anime adaption with Arakawa's designs, do it and I'm buying like I'm picking up the manga they just started putting out. I also remember loving the old OVAs which doubly made me want to pick up the new manga.
