I'm sure all 200 people planning to buy it will be sad to hear this.

No really, it's at the bottom of the pre-order rankings and zero people are discussing it.

Not even a quality boost can save the series, it was dead on arrival.

It's actually fairly entertaining. A lot worse series' are going to sell a lot better IMO.

It's certainly not the worst thing currently airing. Then again, there's some absolute garbage this season, so that's not saying much.

While I'm not watching the series, it does have its fan base. From the way you describe it, it sounds like it wouldn't be the type that would sell well to warrant getting a potential Eng. dub.

A Feb. 9 Crunchyroll article, "Source Material For Anime Over the Last Decade Charted" shows:

Because they already have success as a game/manga/light novel series, this type of anime often is more successful than original content anime.

Wow...it's sad to see the percentage of original works plummet like that.

I'm not sure what you mean, but how does its engelish fanbase relate to this?

Its true what he said, this show has some of the worst amazon rankings i've ever seen for an tv anime. The chances of it not ranking are very high. Which pretty much means it'll sell less than 300 or 200 BDs. DVDs have no chance of ranking, hell would freeze over before that happened.

One of the volumes migth rank in a low threshold week(<200), but I doubt we'll ever know how much it sold. Other low selling series, such as Meganbu(v6 sold 171 copies, ranked 100# on the top 100# BD on the week it was released) barely made the cut-off when it ranked.

I meant that it sounds like wasn't popular enough to get an Eng. dub.

But this is about the Japanese release, so what does a English dub have to do with this?

Rederoin, I meant that has enough solid fanbase to get released here with an Eng. dub. Obviously, it's often that if a show does well enough in Japan, it might get released stateside.

well, right now, nobody seems to want it stateside, so a possible dub is completely irrelevant at this point

But we are talking about the JP release, which is doing badly. The possible dub has nothing to do with this.

The point being made is that the show, if brought to the US, wouldn't warrant getting a dub made because even the Japanese audience is low.
