Sounds lovely. I would like to see it.

Out of curiosity, why would they publish and release a book written in English in Japan? Is it going to be distributed in other countries as well?

I'm really interested in this too! I hope it does get published here, but if nothing else it'll probably be available through Kinokuniya and the like.

The reference to Kenji Miyazawa's involvement in Poppy Hill confused me, since I thought the film was based on an older manga of the same name. Checking the credits page, I see one or two of his poems(?) (I found a translation of one, and links to Aoi Teshima singing a song with the title of the other) were used or alluded to in the movie, along with perhaps two other authors' poems. It's interesting information and I'm glad to know it, but this article could perhaps be clarified to explain in a bit more detail, since as it reads now, it seemed to imply that Poppy Hill was directly the work of Miyazawa.
