Already pledged, and it looks like it'll be making its initial goal soon

It should be funded by the time we all wake up in the morning.
I'm looking forward to seeing what stretch goals they'll offer. I hope the dub isn't one of the harder-to-reach ones. |

It does say on their Kickstarter page that a dub is gonna be their priority for stretch goals, so we shouldnt have to worry about that, unless the pledges come to a complete stand still. So far, things are looking pretty good though

Would've done the $250 tier, but I honestly wouldn't know where to put the damn poster since the crack house I normally hang out at is already full of posters all around...
But yeah, we've pretty much got the movie in the bag at this point. |

I think it's well proven that the Kickstarter pre-order system does work. That's effectively how most of these have worked, the big money goes into laying down the pledge to get the main package.

Less than 24 hours after going live, the project is already funded with an extra 2k to boot.
Andrew says that the first stretch goal they're going to go for will be the dub, and although he doesn't have a hard figure just yet, he estimates it'll be about $60k. Which given just how fast they reached their initial goal, shouldn't be hard to reach at all. He's also looking into the possibility of adding the soundtrack, but that's another can of worms altogether. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/alltheanime/mai-mai-miracle |
