Censoring games like this makes no sense. The target demographic will be pissed off and its not like you're going to bring in more of an audience anyway.

I think the censoring in this case has probably more to do with the Japanese side worrying about whether or not the content might cause some sort of backlash or legal action against them... regardless of whether or not it would even resort to that. It's just them being overly conservative like most JPN devs have been when releasing their games over in NA recently.

About as awkward as watching a porn movie on the bus with audio at max. Man, Japan never ceases to amaze me. Laughing In any case what's the point in spending 40-50$ for this masturbatory game when you can get f-r-e-e p-o-r-n o-n-l-i-n-e. Rolling Eyes

Wow if that is one that is censored then that is ludicrous.

I am planning on getting a Vita and this looks like the type of game I'd want which is unfortunate.

The censorship is completely unneeded and seems extremely random. Its not acceptable and I wont be buying. I like IF but this censorship nonsense has got to stop.

The censorship ruins this for me. This is obviously meant to be a sexy type of game, so if they're going to take cards out for being "too sexy" I'm not going to support it.

Even censorship of multiboob monsters.

Clearly it was those dozen cards that was holding this game back from being the next Call of Duty with the casual American audience. Surely it will now sell millions here Laughing

Japanese card games seem to have bad luck in America. Battle Spirits and Yu-Gi-Oh were censored just as bad if not worse than this, and now virtual card games aren't safe. Kinda dumb to me because Yu-Gi-Oh had actual nudity on the cards while those pictures just have small bikinis.

Poor Vita most of all.. people boycotting this wont do it any favors in America. I wonder if companies are purposely trying to kill it with methods like this...

Are those the changes or the original cards?

Obviously they don't want their game in N. America typecast as (child) pr0n and all the baggage that comes with the label. It's a legal and business landmine they're not itching to fight.

That doesn't even make sense given there's still a ton of debatable inappropriate images in the game. They censored a mix of loli and non-loli images in a varying range of cover. The censorship doesn't have any valid means behind it. It was simply unnecessary.
