Will eventually get around to picking up the previous season 3 but I've been totally looking forward to Bachou for a while. And it's very cool Cherami Leigh is apparently going to voice her.

Edit: Great job on the cast New Gen and Funimation.

Have zero interest in this show, but the cast looks great, especially Rachel Robsinson.

Awesome, and I haven't even watched the third season of Ikkitousen yet. Looks like that means more martial arts battle scenes for me to watch. Smile

So I'm guessing by the cast that this is a Bang Zoom effort?

New Generation Pictures though they went above and beyond in getting BOTH the LA cast and NY cast in this. Shocked

i haven't heard from any work from savage since daphne in the brilliant blue. though i am surprised that their using new generation VA instead of their own considering its cheaper from what i have been told.

Jonathan Klein said that he and the cast really loved working on the first season, and were disappointed that they were abandoned for the second. I'm thinking FUNi is doing this as a favor to New Generation to help make up for season two, and also to stay in their good graces for when Hellsing: Ultimate 9 & 10 finally come around.

well that makes sense, especially when it comes to Hellsing Ultimate.

Though i am preety sure New Generation did the second season when it was still licensed by Media Blasters , unless it was a new dub.

Funi had nothing to do with season 2 that was all Media Blasters as they got New York to do it Funi is prob doing the dub this way for the fans same as there old tenchi dubs.

I like Jonathan Klein, I like Carrie Savage (Top 10 voice actress list material IMHO) and the rest of the cast from the 3rd season that Funi just released. I didn't like the dub. I hear that Klein made a conscious decision to "tone down" the raunchiness of the lines in the dub vs what the translators gave him. This was a dub that needed a director who could embrace the creepiness (The Clink, Jerry "Rail Tracer" Jewel, Foster, Greenfield...)

How did Glass and Calvello end up in this one? Don't tell me that they too decided to move/return to California/NY (and thus, out of so many future dubs) along with the likes of Haberkorn/Vic/Cherami. Speaking of whom, while I think that Cherami is great she is not whom I think of when I see the character that she dubbed in Season 4 of this.

i already know that media blasters was involved with season 2 and 3 and not funi. though what i was mentioning that it might have been cheaper for funi to use its own VA instead of new generation. but considering that other user's argument , its makes sense even though to commission new generation will cost a lot more money than NYAV.

though it will be worth it if it mean getting on friendly terms with new generation , especially when it comes to hellsing ultimate and other series.

Going through Glass' encyclopedia... she has a few LA dubbed shows. Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians and Monster and maybe another I missed. She probably stays with friends or family out there. Or just records from home and sends the files over. Mike McFarland has done a few LA stuff, including Monster.
