Not talking about it won't prevent it from happening, and with the Internet being what it is, it doesn't take long for news to spread, whether ANN picked it up or some other news site. It's a news item, and that's what ANN is about.

ANN's job is journalism, not activism. They have to report the news whether it's good or bad, even if it's helpful to the seedier underbelly of the anime universe.

It's not really a leak (unless you want to say The Anime Network's pre-air stream of To Love Ru - Darkness in 2012 was a leak as well). This report states that Sohu and the Japanese side had a mistake as to when it would air (just like the TAN reps said in 2012) and so they streamed it early.

I love it. You've been doing nothing but complaining about lack of fanservice/nudity of female characters in KyoAni shows, then they show the girls naked in the new ED and suddenly it's body type that's the problem. You're just gonna find new things to complain about no matter what, aren't you?
