So basically the same thing the Xbox One already mentioned on doing that people didn't like because it'd depend on being online.

Pretty much. Don't want anything to do with this. Has DRM-incoming all over it.

Odd how their Deus Ex demo still only looks half as good as when I played it on my PC. Bad compression when streaming online or they're showing it on a console? Idk. Seems pointless on all the games they demoed.

Call me orthodox gamer, but i definitely prefer playing games via disc over cloud-based, no matter how good the online aspects will influence the game's presentation

Seems a bit like what OnLive tried to provide. We can only hope that Square Enix can implement this better.

And have ya guys heard about this:
"Sony to charge a $9.99, not $5 monthly fee for multiplayer games on PS4, Nikkei reports"
Seems that while Microsoft was giving out XB1 info early on, Sony's strategy is to leak out PS4 info late near launch. Can't say these are unexpected though; Sony could only offer free online for so long. And since both XB1 and PS4 will be relying more on cloud-based servers to process more of the calculations off the consoles and with expected increasing people using online services, will only raise the costs of maintaining these servers. |

That's quite strange, since all they're doing is making Plus required for online play, and Plus transfers from PS3 to PS4. A lot of people already have their Plus paid for @ 5 dollars a month. if they double the price it won't even effect me for like 2 years considering how much plus I have left.
