One of the most genius anime creators of the past 20 years? Sounds worth checking out.

It's not April 1st yet. I think you guys are either a little late, or really early with that.
In other news; yay!

Wasn't there a news article last year that said it was going to be the year of Hideaki Anno or something along those lines?
I'd given up hope of another project by Anno.
I can't wait to see what he has in store.

I agree. Anno may be controversial, but no one can deny the impact he's had on the anime world (for better or worse, that's up to you). At least we know it will be interesting, and if you're an Anno fan, it'll probably be good.
However, I'm doubting it will be more Eva. As cool as that would be, it doesn't exactly make sense. I looked up "Khara", and it is a reference to the Hindu epic Ramayana.

Anno did some work for Diebuster. I hope this has nothing to do with an Eva sequel. A prequel would be nice, probably. The copyright line indeed changed, and that's what worries me. Gainax isn't in its best shape, I'd hate to see Eva with magical robot maid girls who also happen to be princesses and underage lolis.

Isn't there already an Eva game that covers that? One of the 500 million PC EVa games

Maybe in this new Evangelion movie, it'll start off where End of Evangelion ended.

Normally, that would logically be the most likely scenario. Except that this is Hideaki Anno and Evangelion we are talking about. If it relates to Evangelion, anything is possible. Maybe it will be yet another version of the ending.

Looks like someone just open a giant can of worms.......But I got to be honest I am so very excitied. Hideaki Anno anything is a good thing.....Anno and EVA is the winning combo.

From what I've heard, it's symbolic for menstruation. The End, movie over.

Yeah, if this is false, guess what new question Zac can expect to hear as much as "When is Beserk Season 2 going to be made?"?

This will turn out to be either REALLY good or REALLY bad. One way or another, I'll get to see some decent anime. Hopefully.

Am I the only person here who thinks that this could be related to the live action movies? (though it's just a theory)
If not, the it's undoubtedly a prequel or an alternate re-telling as the end (of the film) was as open as a slab of concret.
