Good to hear that people are actually buying this. It is good new that something other than Naruto is making it in the top 150. I know a lot of people were buying this because they were all shrinkwrapped because it came with a poster.
I wonder if Kenshin will move up at all next week?
Till next time,

Hmmm, very nice to see this indeed. I haven't bought this yet, however. Why, today I only just bought volumes 4 and 5. I have a long way to go until I get to 28. Either way, it's good to see it selling.

I bought vol. 28 late in June while I was wandering through a bookstore in another state. You should have seen the double-take I did when I saw a book that wasn't supposed to be released for a week.
And at last, my Kenshin collection is complete (aside from the much-maligned third arc of the anime). It's sad, but the ending is so uplifting that it's hard to be too sad.
Older Yahiko is really cool. That's all I gotta say.

I too bought this in late June. I hope my contribution helped its sales. How does that work when one buys the book before it's official release? Regardless, it's a great and happy ending to the series. It's sad that I have no more Kenshin to collect. I hope others who are fans of the series will purchase it if they have not already. The ending is far superior to the last OVA wherein they changed Kenshin's personality completely.

I've only seen all of the anime (box set and OVA set). I have gripes with the anime (the movie was so bad I laughed, I was watching the dub though, and the fact that after the Kyoto story arch was finished the episodes' story and plot quality in my opinion dropped a certain amount) but otherwise the anime owns immensely and I consider the prequel and sequel OVAs some of the best footage ever made aside from the fact that Kenshin's personality gets plowed over with weakness and depression in the sequel OVA.

Sadly I was not one of the early buyers. I just got it today. And sat down and read it. It is just sad it finally over, but I guess it would be a bad thing if it just dragged on and on. It was a great manga series, Anime, ova, and movie. I just have to say it was good, the best series manga series so far that i have read. Go Kenshin, Kaouro, Yahiko, Sanosuke, and everyone else. Older Yahiko is really cool.
