well, all I hope, for this year, is for any of the manga companies to show some manga previews. I did like some of the amerimanga in last year's Tokyopop preview, but I was hoping to see some manga titles as well.

Funny how Tokyopop likes to call some of its books comics on this day. Why can't they just call their Amreican books comics? Actually 'graphic novels' is the most honest term for them. I love some of their American made books, but I just can't stand calling them manga. It's an overgeneralization that insults artists on both sides of the Pacific.

It's marketing. "Comic" has childish conotations. Manga doesn't. That is all there is to it.
