Well this came from no where! But, I'm pleasantly surprised, and its going on my must watch list now.
But, does anyone know when it will air? The article doesn't seem to mention it. |

Honestly, Kawamoto's Character designs haven't done any thing for me since Wolfs Rain. I used to love every thing he did too. You also have to remember that this is him adapting someone else's designs. |

It's nice that Bones is announcing stuff again, they seemed pretty quiet for a while and now we have this, Space Dandy and Tenkai Knights. Still wondering what that 'Familiar title' they have been working on is.

More like de-evolved. These are a MASSIVE step down from Cowboy Bebop. Cowboy Bebop has some of the finest character designs in anime. It's much better than any modern anime character designs. If you think they're not, then I have no hope for you. |

Oh whoa. There was no reason to attack him. Maybe he more like meant that Kawamoto has adapted to the times. And wow, Cowboy Bebop has some of the finest character designs in anime? Yeah, these don't look like Kawamoto character designs. These look like the same garbage most character designers do these days. Why get Kawamoto if you're just going to make him draw crappy? He was the guy you could always count on to have different, distinct flair. These characters look like they come from How to Draw Manga.

well, there's a manga to advertise here. unless the anime is an original project, studios aren't asked to come up with something "whoa", but to stick to the source's style as much as possible. I see nothing wrong here. |

And we saw what happened with Aku no Hana when you ignore the original source materials art style and do your own thing... the fans of the original manga will NOT be happy. Its best to not to do your own thing after how that ended up and just go with how the original art looks.
