Good afternoon!
I've just finished the final Loveless DVD and I'm just a little confused. Not about spoiler[a college student hitting on a 6th grader]. That's just a trifle pervy but I do get that part. But what I don't get is: 1) What is the purpose of the whole Fighter/Sacrifice thing. What are they fighting for/against. Or is that something we're just not supposed to question...it's just there. 2) Is Ritsuka called Loveless because he is spoiler[both the Fighter and the Sacrifice?] If so, that would explain why spoiler[no one showed up for him other than Soubi.] 3) Is his brother Seimei spoiler[still alive? In the final episode, it seemed like Seimei was in a car watching Ritsuka and Soubi, smiled then rolled up the car window.] Now I really know why some of you complain about final episodes. This one and E's Otherwise left me feeling a bit unsatisfied with the endings. Too many things left unclear and both did seem rushed. Thanks! |

My suggestion? Read the manga! The series was slated to be only twelve episodes, and because the manga is ongoing the ending to the show was a bit...um...lackluster. The manga is continuing, so as they're releasing more and more volumes of it, the mysteries of the series will come closer and closer to being solved. Good luck! Only the first volume is out in the US at this point, so there's going to be a bit of a wait.

Actually, I do have vol. 1 of the manga and am waiting for vol. 2. The ANN Encyclopedia only lists the two American Vols. None for the Japanese. How many are there? I'll keep checking Right Stuf to see when others show up. Thanks again! |
