OT: What happend to the edit list

After a lengthy hiatus, the edit list came back 2 weeks ago when NGE aired on AS; now its gone again. Was this column supposed to be an established column and the columnist just got lazy? Or was it just written to fill space?

People have lives. If a columist has the time and ability to write his or her column then they will. Patience is a virtue.

I'm not 100% sure that it is what he is getting paid for. It is quite possible that some of the columns here are written on a voluntary basis only without any money changing hands.

I could be wrong about that, but it would certainly explain a few things.
