Does anyone know which show will replace .Hack//Sign on YTV? Or whether or not they are going to replace it anytime soon? I checked the website and I found no information on it other then back to back Naruto episodes this friday, but there is already a post on this so try to keep the b2b Naruto posts in that thread.

Nothing yet has been scheduled to replace .hack//SIGN. I'm really hopping that a rerun of Vision Of Escaflowne to be shown. I really need to watch it again as it is one of my most favourite anime of all time. Not to mention that the music is kick ass because of Kanno Yoko. However i'm predicting that YTV will air the third InuYasha Movie: Swords Of An Honourable Ruler/Sword Of World Destruction sometime from new years eve to march, possibly next august at the latest. Other titles I'd like to see on YTV are Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, GetBackers, DN Angel, Spiral or possibly Rurouni Kenshin (though highly unlikely).

For now, .hack//SIGN is going to be in reruns. While I am trying to be optimistic about hearing a new announcement soon and that it might get replaced with .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet (SIGN was successful here, so airing the second series would be justified), I think we'll be stuck with reruns until the end of the year.
I'd just like to point out that if you guys e-mail YTV at [email protected] and tell them that you want to see Gundam SEED Destiny and .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet air and put an end to these reruns before the end of the year, it will definitely help. They really, honestly take the opinions of their viewers seriously. Also, I'd rather not see Escaflowne and Gundam Wing air again. They've had their time, and it would just be a waste of space to have them sticking around on Friday nights for up to a year. Weeknights, maybe, but not on Bionix. |
