I dunno, TVTropes makes it sound... interesting, with AU chapters where all the characters suddenly become ninjas, with the status quo restored by the next chapter. Maybe it's shallow, but that's certainly not pedantic.

It resembles Gintama in many ways, seeing as the author of Sket Dance is Sorachi's former assistant. It's pretty decent comedy if you ask me. Shallow, maybe, but not pedantic.

You may notice that when you clicked on "discuss" you entered the UK talkback. Which is why that line was a joke. I know nothing about this anime besides its name and promo art.

its funny you mention gintama cause watching the promo on crunchyroll it seems one of voice actors in the main cast is actually the same VA who does Gintoki's voice. for that reason alone i will check out this show.
