I can see spending the money for blu-ray, but if I can watch it on crunchyroll in HD... oh well, I'm glad I just like this show and not love it to death.

No dub + no bluray + almost no features = NO SALE.

Ditto. I can't see myself spending over $100 for this series when the disks will only provide the same subtitled version I have seen on CR and the extras are mostly paper products, not on the discs.
In addition, I am very sad that Aniplex is muddying the waters of terminology by referring to a 24 contiguous episode single season of anime as "two complete season sets". It is not two seasons, it is two volumes of one season that was broadcast over two cours. It isn't a big deal in any event, and especially for a series that will not have a follow-up season like Blast of Tempest, but it still raises confusion.
It makes it hard to discuss things. For instance, the revelation that there will be an announcement about Full Metal Panic! next month:
Person 1: Will they announce the fourth season?
Person 2: Wait, there have already been four seasons, two of Full Metal Panic!, one of Fumoffu, and one of TSR!
Person 1: OK then, will they announce the fifth season?
Person 3: There was a fourth season of FMP!? When did it air? How did I miss it?
sigh...

I think America has been muddying the water for years by using "season" to refer to any block of episodes, regardless of length.
In the real world, 12 weeks = 3 months = one season.

I think it's different here because only in the past few years has streaming become so widespread that we started referring to 11-13 episodes as a "season".
Previously we would simply get the VHS or DVD release of 26 episodes and we were told that was a "season" by the various licensing companies.
